Convert Your Own Van
As well as ready made campervans we also offer a “convert a van” service.
Bring your own VW T5, T6, T6.1, Ford Transit or Renault Trafic van to us or we can purchase one for you and we will build you a beautiful Leisuredrive conversion. Choose from our Hi-top or an elevating roof option. A walk through layout with a rear toilet or a more traditional rear double bed layout. Available in a multitude of interior and upholstery finishes to suit your budget. All conversions take a miniumum of 168 hours of skilled labour to build and include fully crash tested belted seats, a kitchen hand made at Leisuredrive with a double burner hob, sink, fridge, comfortable beds, all furnishings and curtains. We make you a home from home.

Hi, I’m Derek Andrews founder and owner of Leisuredrive Campervans. I have been building and designing campervans for years and several of my team members have been working with me for 40 years. As well as building them the most important thing is that we use them. We use the best materials and equipment and proven electrical systems which are all easy to use in our campervan builds. We are European Type Approved,VW, Ford and Renault approved and ISO accredited. To that end we are bound by what degree of change we can make to any of our builds so as not to compromise on safety, comfort and convenience. Our beds are crash tested, easy to make up and comfortable. All roofs are made in house by our specialist fibreglass team and built to be easily operated, aesthetic to look at and offer performance benefits. Units are at the correct working height and fitted to allow as much space as possible without compromising on storage with lock fast catches.
